Join us for a guided walking tour of Josefov, Prague’s historic Jewish Quarter. Often referred to as one of the most remarkable Jewish heritage sites in Europe, Josefov offers a unique insight into centuries of Prague’s history, culture, and architecture.
During the tour, participants will explore the historic streets of the former Jewish Town, learn about its development, traditions, and notable personalities, and discover how this remarkable district became an integral part of Prague’s identity.
Participation is free of charge. Registration is required. Capacity is limited to 30 participants. The tour takes approximately 120 minutes.
The tour will be led by Kristian Mejstřík, a professional guide specializing in the history and heritage of Prague’s Jewish Quarter. After studying acting, he graduated in tourism management and founded Prague Local Friends, a company focused on guided tours throughout the Czech Republic. He currently works as a guide and tour director, lectures at Pan-European University, and trains future guides in communication skills for Prague City Tourism.
