Venue

The 28th International Conference on High Resolution Molecular Spectroscopy will be held at the campus of the University of Chemistry and Technology Prague (UCT), located in Prague 6, Dejvice. The closest metro station is Dejvická (line A, green), and there is also a tram and a bus stop of the same name.

The UCT Prague campus in Dejvice (see map scheme below) consists of three buildings (A, B, and C). The conference will take place in building A, which was constructed between 1925 and 1933 according to the design of Prof. Antonín Engel. The main entrance to building A is located on Technická street.

Plenary lectures,  minisymposia, contributed talks, poster sessions, coffee breaks, and exhibitions of sponsoring companies will take place in lecture halls AI and AII, which retain their original architectural appearance from the 1930s, as well as in the foyer located in front of the lecture halls.

How to get to UCT from the airport

We recommend using public transportation when going from the airport Letiště Václava Havla to the city as it is the cheapest and easiest option.

Take trolleybus 59 to the Nádraží Veleslavín metro station. Then take metro line A (green) in the direction of Depo Hostivař and get off at the Dejvická station. Take the escalators up and follow the right‑hand exit, which leads directly to the university. The journey takes approximately 25 minutes.

Don’t forget to buy a ticket for public transport. You can do so by purchasing the ticket in a machine at the bus stop at the airport, or by buying the ticket in the PID Litacka application (we recommend using this app as you can also find the timetables of the public transportation there.)
